Car tumbles down Malibu embankment after crash; woman arrested for DUI

MALIBU, Calif. (KABC) -- A woman was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after being involved in a crash that sent one vehicle down an embankment in Malibu.

The collision happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday on Kanan Dume Road about 1 1/2 miles north of Pacific Coast Highway.

Two vehicles were involved.

Rescue crews carried two people up the embankment. They were transported to a hospital.

The extent of their injuries is unclear.

Police are still investigating the incident.
