ARCADIA, Calif. (KABC) -- Arcadia police seized 700 marijuana plants Friday after discovering an illegal grow inside a home.

Authorities said a call came in around 7:40 p.m. regarding a water leak at a home in the 200 block of E. Newman Avenue. The homeowner, who was out of town, was notified by a neighbor about the leak.

When officers arrived, they found a marijuana grow and a broken water pipe that had flooded the house. A search warrant was obtained for the home and the plants were seized.

No arrests were made. The grow consisted of multiple rooms with expensive lighting, ventilation and irrigation systems as well as electrical equipment and drying bins.

Officers are working with the rental property owners to get more information. The investigation is ongoing.
