Man accused of sexually assaulting boy at Rose Bowl Aquatics Center

PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- A 57-year-old man was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a boy while in the dressing room at the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center in Pasadena on Monday.

The boy told his mother he was sexually assaulted and she quickly reported the incident to the center. The staff recognized Leslie Dittert, alerted the Pasadena Police Department and then followed Dittert from the center through the park until officers arrived.

Dittert was booked at the Pasadena jail and released from custody Thursday afternoon.

Investigators are concerned that there may be other potential victims that have not yet come forward.

Parents or minors who may have had inappropriate contact with Dittert were urged to contact Pasadena Police Department Detective Monica Cuellar at (626) 744-7128.
