Lancaster brush fire contained at 600 acres

A brush fire erupted near 160th Street West and Lancaster Road in Lancaster Friday, June 5, 2015.

A 600-acre brush fire in Lancaster has been fully contained and knocked down by firefighters.

The fire broke out near 160th Street West and Lancaster Road at about 2 p.m. Friday.

At least three aircrafts and 195 firefighters assisted in the firefight.

No structures were threatened. No one was injured.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
