Sterling Fire 95 percent contained; 118 acres burned

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- A 118-acre brush fire that broke out in the San Bernardino Foothills was 95 percent contained Sunday morning.

The fire, dubbed the Sterling Fire, started around 6:30 p.m. Thursday near Sterling Drive in the Del Rosa community. More than 100 firefighters were at the scene working to kill the flames.

A drone had been spotted in the area Thursday afternoon, temporarily halting helicopters and air crafts from dropping water.

No evacuations have been ordered, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Full containment is expected by Saturday afternoon.
