A Rowland Heights man was arrested Saturday for allegedly stealing money out of his friend's wallet during a traffic stop in Covina.

Covina police pulled the car over at about 2 a.m. in the 200 block of West College Street on suspicion of drunk driving.

While the driver was out of the car, another officer saw the passenger, Victor Salgado, who is either 23 or 24, take money from the driver's wallet and pocket it, police said.
