NEW YORK (KABC) -- Taco Bell starts its delivery service Wednesday at more than 200 restaurants around California and Texas.

The restaurant chain has teamed up with the startup delivery company DoorDash.

Delivery will be available initially in more than 90 cities around Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco and Dallas, and there is no minimum order.

"Taco Bell has always been about value and convenience, and we believe delivery is the next step in catering to today's on-demand culture that's driving consumer behavior," said Taco Bell CEO Brian Niccol in a press release.

Aside from Taco Bell, DoorDash delivers food from chain restaurants, such as California Pizza Kitchen and The Cheesecake Factory, as well as independent restaurants, such as Fred 62, Sqirl and Canter's.

Taco Bell, a subsidiary of Yum Brands Inc., said that it plans to bring delivery nationwide, but did not specify a time frame.
