Enrique Iglesias, Luis Coronel earn top honors at Univision's 2015 Premios Juventud (Youth Awards)

MIAMI (KABC) -- Spanish pop sensation Enrique Iglesias earned major honors at Univision Network's 2015 "Premios Juventud" (Youth Awards) after fans declared him the best among Hispanic entertainers in six categories on Thursday's live broadcast from the BankUnited Center at the University of Miami.

Up-and-comer Luis Coronel, whose meteoric rise has made him a superstar in Mexican regional music, also walked away as one of his generation's favorites for the evening. Coronel won the "Just Play It All" award for "Quiero Ser Tu Dueno." On top of that, he claimed victory as "Red Hot Artist" and "My Regional Mexican Artist," as well as recognition in the pop culture "Follow Me" category for his level of social media engagement with fans.

The 12th annual edition of the show, hosted by Ninel Conde, William Levy, Alejandra Espinoza and El Dasa, also featured performances from chart-topping artists such as Ricky Martin, Pit Bull, J Balvin and more.

The network also recognized Mario Kreutzberger's professional achievements with PJ's Idol for Generations Award. A special montage allowed the audience to reminisce with Kreutzberger, the beloved Don Francisco, whose variety show, "Sabado Gigante" (Giant Saturday), has long been a staple in countless Hispanic homes. After 53 years on the air, the veteran broadcaster, record-breaking hostwill bring the iconic show to a close in September.
