Man's body found in La Puente neighborhood; investigation underway
LA PUENTE, Calif. (KABC) -- An investigation was underway after a man was found dead in a La Puente neighborhood early Thursday morning.
The man's body was found next to a bicycle in the 14900 block of Janetdale Street around 3:30 a.m.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's homicide detectives were investigating the death.
The man appeared to have suffered blunt-force trauma, according to Lt. Dave Coleman. Neighbors told Eyewitness News that they heard shouting around 3:20 a.m.
The identity of the man was not immediately released.
