100 Firefighters battle commercial fire in Playa Vista

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles County firefighters battled a massive commercial fire in Playa Vista early Saturday.

Officials said there were about 100 firefighters working the blaze, and crews were able to fully contain the fire by 9 a.m.

Officials dispatched to the three-story commercial building around 7:30 a.m. in the 11800 block of Teale Street. The structure was not occupied upon arrival, according to Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Additional units were requested at some point during the fire fight.

It was not made clear what caused the fire.
