SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles Department of Water and Power crews finished repairs Sunday on a broken water main that closed a busy road and impacted businesses in Sherman Oaks.

LADWP announced the completion of repairs on their Twitter account around 8:30 a.m.

The busted 8-inch pipe in the 14300 block of Ventura Boulevard was reported at around 4 p.m. Saturday.

The rushing water damaged at least one business, FastFrame, but a total of 25 businesses were impacted when crews shut off the water to make repairs. Water service has been fully restored.

The water-main break forced the closure of Ventura Boulevard between Fulton and Sunnyslope avenues. All roads have since reopened.
