Bizarre thief steals lawn ornaments in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (KABC) -- From giant lions to tiny turtles, a yard outside a Victorville resident's home is filled with more than 60 lawn ornaments - many of which don't actually belong to her.

An unknown thief has been stealing lawn ornaments from homes in Victorville, only to pile them up outside Robyn Yearout's house. Police are searching for the culprit, who was caught on camera outside one home.

Many of the ornaments are still at the Victorville police station waiting to be picked up by homeowners. Yearout has installed her own surveillance camera to keep an eye out for the lawn ornament thief.
