Ventura County fire officials said the blaze started near Rocky Peak Road and was spotted shortly before 1 p.m. before it quickly grew to 30 acres.

Fire officials said there was minimal threat to structures.
VCFD officials confirmed shortly before 10 p.m. the fire was 100 percent contained at 45 acres and no injuries were reported.

Fire crews from Ventura County, Los Angeles County and the city of Los Angeles worked to extinguish the blaze from the ground and air.
