SIERRA MADRE, Calif. (KABC) -- Two men were arrested after police say they attempted to install a card skimmer at a Sierra Madre gas station.
Police responded to an alarm call at the Valero gas station on north Baldwin Avenue around 2:40 p.m. Saturday.
Edvard Martirosyan, 27, and Aram Manasaryan, 22, both of Glendale, were taken into custody without incident.
Police found other skimming devices, laptops, fake credit cards and other tools used to compromise gas pumps inside the suspects' car.
An investigation is ongoing. Police Chief Larry Giannone is urging people who used their cards at the gas station between May 22 and June 6 to monitor their bank statements.
