Cerritos woman groped by man on bike; suspect sought
Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies are searching for a man on a bicycle accused of groping a woman in broad daylight.

CERRITOS, Calif. (KABC) -- Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies are searching for a man on a bicycle accused of groping a woman in broad daylight.

Around 11:30 a.m. Thursday, officials said a 41-year-old woman was walking near Carmenita Road and Artesia Boulevard when the suspect rode up behind her and grabbed her buttocks.

Following the sexual assault, the suspect continued riding his bicycle southbound from the scene and out of view, authorities said.

The suspect was described as a male, between 20 and 25 years old, 5 feet 5 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing between 140 and 170 pounds, with medium length curly or wavy brown hair. He was riding a black 10-speed type mountain bike.

Deputies said this is the second reported incident in the span of one week.
