SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Crews were working to repair a water-main break in Sherman Oaks Saturday night.

A call came in at about 4 p.m. after an 8-inch pipe burst in the 14300 block of Ventura Boulevard.

The rushing water damaged one business: FastFrame. A total of 25 businesses were impacted when crews shut off the water to make repairs, which weren't expected to be complete until midday Sunday, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

The water-main break forced the closure of Ventura Boulevard between Fulton and Sunnyslope avenues.
