Customer shot inside Valero gas station in Carson

CARSON, Calif. (KABC) -- A customer was shot Tuesday night inside a Valero gas station in Carson, Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies said.

The incident occurred at about 10:10 p.m. at a gas station at Sepulveda and Avalon boulevards. The victim, whose identity was not released, was taken to a hospital.

No other injuries were reported. A search was underway for the suspect.

A possible suspect description was not immediately released by police.
