Elderly couple with cognitive issues missing from Laguna Woods

LAGUNA WOODS, Calif. (KABC) -- The search for a missing elderly couple continues in Laguna Woods. Carl Tarantino and his wife Theresa disappeared just after 8 a.m. Friday.

Carl was described as an 83-year-old man, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds with blue eyes and a bald head. He may be wearing a green checkered shirt and a green sweater.

A description of his wife Theresa was not immediately available. Police say both have varying degrees of cognitive issues and do not own cell phones.

The couple may have been driving a purple or black 1998 Honda Accord with California license plate No. 5GMB136.
