Firefighters contain 10-acre brush fire in Hemet

HEMET, Calif. (KABC) -- A brush fire broke out in Hemet Monday afternoon near Warren Road and Devonshire Avenue.

Fire officials said the blaze started around 3:20 p.m. and that it had burned 10 acres. No structures were threatened, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The Riverside County Fire Department and Cal Fire assisted Hemet Fire Department firefighters douse the flames.

The fire was knocked down around 4:15 p.m.
