VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles Valley College in Van Nuys was placed on lockdown Wednesday night after reports of shots fired, according to authorities. The lockdown was lifted a few hours later.
Los Angeles police said around 6:45 p.m. they received calls regarding shots fired. The college is located at Burbank Boulevard and Fulton Avenue.
Some students said they had heard shots, but authorities said there was no evidence. Police cleared students from the buildings and checked for a possible shooter.
After a few hours of searching, no evidence was found.
