LAPD officer injured in motorcycle crash
A Los Angeles Police Department motor officer is in serious, but stable condition after a motorcycle collision on Wednesday.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A Los Angeles Police Department motor officer is in serious, but stable condition after a motorcycle collision on Wednesday.

The incident happened on Roscoe Boulevard near Sepulveda Boulevard in Panorama City. The LAPD said two motor cops were heading west on Roscoe when a BMW merged and hit one of the officers.

The Valley Traffic Division officer is currently in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The area of Roscoe Boulevard near the accident was closed for several hours. Police will continue to investigate the incident.
