BURBANK, Calif. (KABC) -- Predictions of sharply rising gas prices had quite an impact on at least two CostCo outlets in Southern California on Friday.

AIR7 HD captured the scene as lines of cars waited for gas at the CostCo stations in Van Nuys and Burbank.

Drivers waited in long lines while seeking out the lowest prices in town.

On Wednesday, wholesale prices jumped 51 cents a gallon as distributors started buying the more expensive summer blend of gasoline.
