Man, 21, killed in drive-by near Cal State LA

EL SERENO, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man was killed in a drive-by shooting near the California State University, Los Angeles campus early Saturday.

Raul Sanchez Jr., 21, was allegedly walking with two females in the 5300 block of Valley Boulevard when they were approached by a silver four-door sedan.

A passenger in the sedan opened fire, shooting Sanchez twice. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspects were described as two male Hispanics and believed to be gang members, LAPD said. The victim was not a gang member.
