77-year-old man stabbed to death by juvenile relative in Cypress

CYPRESS, Calif. (KABC) -- A 77-year-old man was killed after he was stabbed by a juvenile relative in Cypress, police said.

Cypress police were called to the 4500 block of Victoria Court following a report of a domestic disturbance.

Responding officers found the victim, later identified as William Tanaka, suffering from a stab wound.

Officers and paramedics administered lifesaving measures, but Tanaka was declared dead at an area hospital.

Authorities said a juvenile suspect, who is related to Tanaka, was arrested and booked at Orange County Juvenile Hall on suspicion of homicide. The suspect's name was not released due to his age.
