Man dressed as Santa Claus robs KFC at knifepoint

DERBYSHIRE, ENGLAND (KABC) -- A man dressed as Santa Claus climbed through a KFC drive-thru window in England and robbed the fast food restaurant at knifepoint earlier this week, Derbyshire police said.

The suspect dressed in red-and-white gear hopped the counter, threatened an employee with a knife and then stuffed cash into his sack before fleeing.

Authorities said the suspect was wearing a red hat, red trousers and a red jacket. It was unknown how much money the suspect fled the scene with.
