Man fatally stabbed in Tustin; investigation underway

TUSTIN, Calif. (KABC) -- An investigation was underway after a man was fatally stabbed near Red Hill and Mitchell avenues in Tustin afternoon.

Police responded to a report of a man bleeding at about 3:17 p.m., and transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The victim has been identified as Robert Carranza, 39, of Tustin. No further information was immediately released.
