FONTANA, Calif. (KABC) -- Fontana police are searching for a man who allegedly groped a woman in a wheelchair and attempted to push her into a Metrolink station bathroom against her will.

The man in his early 20s approached the victim at about 11:35 p.m. Saturday. He commented on her appearance, before grabbing her breast and squeezing it multiple times, police said.

The suspect then asked the woman if she wanted to have sex with him. When she declined, he pushed her wheelchair towards a restroom. She fought him off and called police.

The suspect is wanted on suspicion of sexual battery. He was described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and was last seen wearing a white shirt and black jeans, hat and Dickies jacket.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Fontana Police Department anonymous tip line at (909) 356-8477.
