Man shot dead in front of Riverside home; investigation underway

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was found shot to death in the front yard of a Riverside home early Sunday morning.

Riverside police responded to the 10300 block of Stover Avenue on reports of a shooting outside of a home around 2:31 a.m.

Officers then found a man suffering from gunshot wounds in the front yard of the home. The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

It was unclear what led to the shooting. Authorities did not release any suspect information.
