Man's body recovered from MacArthur Park Lake

WESTLAKE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man's body was recovered from MacArthur Park Lake in the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles Monday morning, police said.

The Los Angeles Fire Department assisted police in recovering the body from the lake in the 2000 block of W. 7th Street shortly before 8 a.m.

The man was apparently in his 20s. His name and cause of death were not immediately known.

Anyone with information was urged to contact the LAPD's Rampart Division.
