Massive sinkhole swallows intersection in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- A large sinkhole swallowed an intersection in Sunset Park section of Brooklyn.

The sinkhole developed around 7 a.m. at Fifth Avenue and 64th Street.

No injuries were immediately reported. It is not clear what caused the sinkhole.

National Grid responded to the scene because gas lines were affected.
