Monkey-masked robber holds up San Diego hotel

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KABC) -- Investigators in the San Diego area say two armed robbers were not monkeying around.

Surveillance video of the heist at a Quality Inn shows one of the armed suspects wearing a monkey mask.

He climbs over the desk while his accomplice points a gun at workers, demanding money. It doesn't take long for the suspects to grab the cash and take off, monkey mask still firmly in place.

Investigators hope this video will lead them to the masked men.
