Motorcyclist killed in collision with street sweeper in Santa Ana

SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a street sweeper in Santa Ana Thursday morning, police said.

The collision was reported near the intersection of Red Hill and East Warner avenues at about 6:40 a.m. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The southbound lanes of Red Hill Avenue were closed to Barranca Parkway.

No other injuries were reported.
