DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- For $350 million, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill built 24 courtrooms and chambers for 32 judges for the new federal courthouse in downtown Los Angeles.
The building sits on a stone base topped by a sparkling glass cube and contains the Great Seal of the United States incorporated into its design.
It is set to replace the previous courthouse on Spring Street.
