BURBANK, Calif. (KABC) -- A Glendale police officer is under investigation after allegedly getting into a fight with two Burbank police officers while he was drunk.

Investigators said Burbank officers responded to a disturbance call outside Barney's Beanery on North 1st Street early Wednesday morning.

When they arrived, Burbank police said they found off-duty Glendale police officer Cameron Sanchez standing on a sidewalk, unable to take care of himself.

A fight broke out as the Burbank officers arrested Sanchez, according to Burbank police.

During the fight, Burbank police said their officers suffered scrapes and scratches.

Sanchez, 36, was charged with suspicion of battery on a peace officer and public intoxication. Burbank police said he is due in court in December.
