LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A rookie police officer is no longer employed by the Los Angeles Police Department after a shooting investigation at a Culver City apartment.

Officers responded to a complex in the 6100 block of Canterbury Drive in the early morning hours of Oct. 26. A couple said a bullet had been fired into the wall of their apartment.
