CERRITOS, Calif. (KABC) -- Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies were involved in a slow-speed chase Tuesday afternoon.
The pursuit, which started at Rosecrans Avenue, lasted about 20 minutes. The suspect was traveling at speeds between 5 and 30 miles per hour down surface streets and freeways. Authorities tried to stop him using spike strips, but because of the slow speeds, the suspect was able to evade them.
He was taken into custody after attempting to drive his car over a median at an intersection in Cerritos.
