AGUA DULCE, Calif. (KABC) -- Authorities chased a stolen-vehicle suspect Thursday afternoon from Santa Clarita to a remote area of Agua Dulce, finally catching him after he crashed the vehicle and fled on foot.
The man in a Toyota Corolla led sheriff's deputies and CHP officers on a chase for less than half an hour, switching from freeways to surface streets to a dirt road.
He crashed through a gate in a rural private property area in Agua Dulce, then jumped out of the car after hitting some trees.
Deputies chased the man on foot for a few minutes, finally tackling him in a pile of tumbleweed.
He continued struggling against a mass of deputies before they were able to subdue him.
No word yet on his identification or what charges he may face.
