NEW CASTLE COUNTY, Del. -- A stray bullet struck a crib holding a sleeping baby during a shooting in Delaware that sent a man to the hospital.
At approximately 5:47 p.m. Monday, police responded to Bedford Drive in Edgemoor Gardens after receiving a report of a shooting.
The victim, a male in his 20s, was transported to Christiana Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
Police say one of the bullets traveled into a nearby home and struck a portable crib, where a baby was sleeping. Police say the child was not harmed.
Two suspects allegedly fled on foot from the scene.
No arrests have been made.
