POMONA, Calif. (KABC) -- One day after he was identified as a suspect, a man has been arrested in the death of a woman whose body was found in a West Hollywood dumpster in early July.

Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies arrested Abdulla Tario Camran, the suspect in the murder of a woman who was found in a dumpster in the 8700 block of Beverly Boulevard on July 6.

Camran is believed to be a transient who frequented homeless encampments in Los Angeles and West Hollywood. On Monday he was identified as a suspect in the death of Joie Nicole Kinney, 28.

Camran was arrested after he was spotted in the area of Town Avenue and Arrow Highway in Pomona, sheriff's officials said. Pomona police found him, confirmed his identity and arrested him.

He was being held in lieu of $2 million bail and is expected to be arraigned Wednesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Airport Court.
