Suspect stealing mail caught on camera in Monterey Park

MONTEREY PARK, Calif. (KABC) -- A suspect was caught on camera stealing mail off the front porch of a Monterey Park resident's home.

Jacky Siu sent in photos of the surveillance footage to ABC7's Facebook Page using the #ABC7Eyewitness. He said he had been waiting for a package of LED lights for two weeks. He ended up checking the tracking number and realized the package should have been delivered.

He then turned on his surveillance camera and ended up catching a person stealing the package from his home near Wilcox Avenue and Pomona Boulevard. He said he does not know the suspected thief.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact the Monterey Park Police Department.
