Suspected drunk driver kills bicyclist in Pomona

POMONA, Calif. (KABC) -- A suspected drunk driver struck and killed a bicyclist in Pomona on Saturday morning, police said.

Rick Kyujin Lee, 25, of Chino Hills, was driving northbound on Garey Avenue just north of Philadelphia Street at about 2:30 a.m. when he struck a male bicyclist on the right shoulder from behind.

The bicyclist was treated at the scene, but died shortly after.

Police believe Lee was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested for DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
