CARSON, Calif. (KABC) -- A 15-year-old boy was shot to death in Carson Saturday night.
Authorities received reports of a shooting in the 23900 block of Avalon Boulevard around 4:36 p.m.
The teen was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said the teen and his girlfriend were walking on Sepulveda Boulevard when a car pulled up.
Two suspects got out of the vehicle and fired several rounds at the teen. The girl managed to run away unharmed.
Investigators aren't sure whether the shooting is gang related, but did say it appears the teen was targeted.
The suspects escaped in a white or silver four-door car. Detectives were looking for any surveillance video that could provide clues.
The investigation was ongoing.
