Two bodies found in Oxnard house, police say
Two bodies were found in a house in Oxnard and police are treating the deaths as suspicious.

OXNARD, Calif. (KABC) -- The bodies of a man and woman were found in a house in Oxnard Saturday afternoon, and police were treating the deaths as suspicious.

The bodies were found at about 4:43 p.m. at a home in the 5400 block of Barrymore Drive after a 911 caller reported someone not breathing, according to Oxnard police. Officers discovered the victims, identified as 35-year-old Sinia Lemus and 47-year-old Saul Lemus, died from apparent gunshot wounds.

Local newspaper "The Citizens Journal" quoted one officer as saying the deaths appeared to be a murder-suicide.

No further information was available as the investigation was ongoing.
