VIDEO: Car slams into San Bernardino pizza restaurant with customers inside

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- A car slammed into a San Bernardino pizza restaurant while a man and his family were having dinner. The crash was all caught on surveillance video.

The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at All-Star Pizza on Del Rosa Avenue.

That man and the driver walked away with minor bumps and bruises.

San Bernardino police say a few customers were hit by debris, but they weren't seriously hurt.

Officers said it appears the driver somehow lost consciousness, causing him to crash into the pizza shop.

He was cited but won't face charges.
