Violent sexual predator in Valencia arrested, LASD says
Etienne Rosas, 24 of Winnetka, Los Angeles, is accused of a violent sexual attack in Valencia, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

VALENCIA, Calif. (KABC) -- A man wanted in the violent sexual attack of a woman in Valencia has been arrested, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department.

Deputies said the attack happened outside a restaurant in the 27500 block of Wayne Mills Place at about 4 a.m. on Oct. 25.

The sheriff's department said a 25-year-old woman was standing by her car when a man approached her and forced the woman into her car.

The man then physically and sexually assaulted the woman, according to deputies.

The assault stopped when deputies said the woman was able to hit the horn on her car, causing the man to run from the scene.

Investigators identified the suspect as 24-year-old Etienne Rosas of Winnetka, Los Angeles, on Tuesday.

Rosas was arrested on Wednesday in Santa Clarita. He is charged with kidnapping to commit another crime, forcible rape, and two counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object. All four charges are felonies.

Rosas, who is being held on $4 million bond, faces up to 75 years to life in prison if convicted on all charges.

Detectives said they believe Rosas may have more victims and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

If you have information that can help investigators, you are urged to call the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Special Victims Bureau at (877) 710-5273.
