Water main break floods 25 homes in Venice
The cleanup continues Tuesday morning after a water main burst in Venice near the Carroll Canal, flooding multiple homes.

VENICE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The cleanup continues Tuesday morning after a water main burst in Venice near the Carroll Canal, flooding multiple homes.

Authorities responded to the corner of Dell Avenue and Carroll Canal at about 10:30 p.m. Monday and found about 100,000 gallons of water had flooded the streets.

According to the Department of Water and Power, 25 homes were flooded as well.

The same main burst in August 2013.

Officials have shut off the water, as crews mop up the streets.
