Woman struck, killed by hit-and-run driver in San Bernardino
Police said 33-year-old Crystal Golden was struck and killed by a vehicle in San Bernardino.

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- A homeless woman was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in San Bernardino on Monday, according to authorities.

San Bernardino police said the woman was struck by the vehicle on Pepper Avenue near Rialto Avenue at about 6:20 a.m.

It appeared the woman, later identified as 33-year-old Crystal Golden, was walking along the side of the roadway with a shopping cart carrying her belongings when she was hit, according to officials.

A portion of Pepper Avenue was closed as officers investigated the scene.

Police said the driver remained at large.
