ONTARIO, Calif. (KABC) -- An Ontario woman is asking for the public's help in finding her customized racing truck, which was stolen from her home.

"At the end of the day, it's not about the money," said Claudia Robles. "It's about the time, and the blood, sweat and tears of putting the truck together."

Robles says she's been racing her truck for years, in a male-dominated industry.

"I get a lot of 'This is your boyfriend's truck?', and I say 'No. This is my truck.'"

She says the thief broke into her home on the 1500 block of North Bonita Court in Ontario, and stole her truck which was parked inside the garage. It happened sometime Tuesday afternoon.

"I just lost it," said Robles when she got the news from her boyfriend. "I was in tears."

Robles says she's spent more than $15,000 customizing her truck. Her first race of the season is scheduled for Feb. 24.

She's filed a police report with the Ontario police department. She's hoping someone recognizes her truck, and calls authorities.

"I'm determined to find my truck."
