OC small businesses brace for stay-at-home order to be extended
Orange County business owners struggling to stay afloat fear more financial strain is coming their way as another regional stay-at-home order is expected to be extended.

FULLERTON, Calif. (KABC) -- As another regional stay-at-home order is expected to be extended for Southern California, Orange County business owners struggling to stay afloat fear more financial strain is coming their way.

Jerry Morton, the co-owner of Café Rialto in Fullerton, says business is already plummeting from the first stay-at-home order.

Morton said last week was the first time his restaurant did not place any orders from any of its regular vendors, and that his business has seen a significant drop due to the pandemic.

Meanwhile, the number of small businesses open in Orange County is down 30% since January.

The extension of the regional stay-at-home order is expected from the state Tuesday.
