Pedestrian struck, killed by car in Gardena

GARDENA, Calif. (KABC) -- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car overnight in Gardena.

It happened just after 10 p.m. Saturday at Rosecrans and Denker avenues.

Police say the man was not in the crosswalk when he was hit. His identity has not been released.

The driver stayed at the scene and called police.
